The system wasn't built for you

If you're struggling with debt, you've already discovered the industry is confusing by design. Here's what most people face — and why we exist.

01
You don't know what options exist
Settlement companies only tell you about settlement. Credit card companies don't want you to know about hardship programs. The full picture is rarely shown.
02
You don't know who to trust
The space is full of companies with hidden fees, misleading promises, and fine print that shifts the risk entirely onto you. Federal regulators have banned hundreds of operators.
03
You're pressured to decide fast
Urgency tactics, "limited time" offers, and high-pressure calls are the industry norm. Real advisors take the time to understand your situation before making any recommendation.

An advisory firm built for consumers

We're not a debt settlement company. We're an independent advisory firm whose only job is to understand your situation and connect you with the right solution — from the right licensed provider.

Why should I trust Debt Help USA?
+
We're a consumer advisory and referral firm operating as a DBA of Stonegate Consulting LLC, a Wyoming-formed company registered in Florida. We're not a law firm and we don't directly handle debt — our role is to educate you on every available option and refer you to licensed third-party providers when one fits your situation. We don't charge consumers anything — our consultation, education, and matching are always free. When a referred provider compensates us, that compensation doesn't come from you and doesn't influence which option we recommend.
How is this different from a debt settlement company?
+
A settlement company only offers one thing — debt settlement. That's all they sell, so that's what they pitch, even when it isn't right for your situation. We don't sell any single product. We explain every available relief option — settlement, debt management plans, credit counseling, consolidation, validation, bankruptcy — with honest pros and cons for each. If settlement is the right fit, we'll refer you to a licensed settlement provider. If a non-profit credit counseling plan is better, we'll point you there instead. The structure changes the incentive.
What does the free consultation involve?
+
A consumer advisor walks through your situation with you — what debts you have, who's contacting you, what notices you've received, your income, your living situation. Typically 30–45 minutes. Based on what they learn, the advisor explains which options are realistic for your situation, the actual costs and risks of each, and which licensed providers might be the right fit. You're under no obligation to do anything after the call.
Will exploring my options hurt my credit?
+
The consultation itself has zero credit impact — we don't pull credit or report anything. Some relief programs (settlement, validation, bankruptcy) will affect your credit if you enroll. Others (credit counseling, consolidation if managed well) have lower impact or none at all. We'll explain exactly what each option means for your credit before you make any commitment.
How quickly will someone reach out after I request a consultation?
+
Within one business day for most requests. If you submit your request during business hours, you may hear back the same day. There's no rushed call-back, no high-pressure outreach — just a calm, professional conversation when you're ready for it.
