We're an independent consumer advisory firm. Our job is to understand your situation and connect you with the right solution — not to push the one that pays us the most. This is who we are, what we do, and why we built it this way.
The debt relief industry has a long, well-documented history of taking advantage of people in financial distress. Federal regulators have banned hundreds of operators over the years for misleading consumers, charging hidden fees, and selling people into programs that weren't right for them.
We started Debt Help USA with a simple premise: consumers in financial distress deserve straight, honest information about all their options — not a hard sell on whatever program a particular company happens to offer. We don't sell debt settlement. We don't manage debt management plans. We don't offer consolidation loans. Our role is education and referral, full stop.
If you decide a particular path makes sense after we walk you through everything, we connect you with a licensed provider in our network — a law firm, a non-profit counselor, a bankruptcy attorney, whatever fits. You sign your engagement directly with them. Our part is making sure you get to that decision with eyes open.
Our particular area of expertise is attorney-led debt validation under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). When third-party debt collectors are contacting you about debts you don't recognize, or amounts that seem wrong, or accounts that have been sold so many times the paperwork is questionable — debt validation is the legal mechanism for forcing them to prove the debt before they can keep collecting.
This isn't a do-it-yourself process for most people. The FDCPA gives you the right, but exercising it effectively against sophisticated collection operations requires legal representation. That's why we built a referral network of licensed law firms that handle debt validation properly — not as a single letter, but as an ongoing legal protection program.
If debt validation is right for your situation, we'll explain how the law firms in our network handle it, what the fees are, and what risks come with the process. If it's not the right fit, we'll tell you that clearly and point you to whichever path is better for you.
These aren't marketing words — they're the operating principles we hold ourselves to in every consumer interaction.
Our consultation, education, and matching are free. We don't take money from consumers to talk through options. Any fees you eventually pay go to the licensed provider you choose to engage with directly.
Even when a particular option isn't one we help with, we'll tell you it exists and explain how it works. You can't make an informed decision if you don't know what's available.
Every relief option has downsides — credit impact, tax consequences, timelines, what could go wrong. We explain those clearly before you decide. No sugarcoating.
We only refer to providers who are properly licensed for the services they offer. Law firms with attorneys. Non-profits with accreditation. Lenders with the necessary licenses. We verify before we refer.
When you engage with a provider in our network, you sign your agreement directly with them — not with us. There's no middle layer obscuring who's responsible for what.
No artificial urgency, no "limited time" offers, no high-pressure follow-up calls. We follow up if you ask us to. Otherwise we let you decide on your own timeline.
We comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the FTC's Telemarketing Sales Rule, and state-level consumer protection laws. You opt in, you can opt out anytime, and we honor your preferences immediately.
We don't sell your personal information. Period. We share what we need to with the licensed providers you choose to engage with, and that's it. See our privacy policy for details.
Transparency about the corporate structure behind the brand — because in this industry, that matters.
Debt Help USA is a doing-business-as (DBA) brand of Stonegate Consulting LLC, a Wyoming-formed limited liability company registered as a foreign LLC in Florida and operating from West Palm Beach, FL.
We are a consumer advisory and referral firm. We are not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice. We do not directly settle, negotiate, manage, or consolidate consumer debt. The licensed providers in our referral network — law firms, non-profit credit counseling agencies, bankruptcy attorneys, lenders — provide those services directly to consumers who choose to engage with them.
For full disclosure of our role, what we do, what we don't do, and the limitations of our services, see our full disclaimer.
A free consultation is the next step. No pressure, no sales tactics — just an honest conversation about where you are and what your real options are.
